dc.description.abstractEste artículo presenta el análisis de resultados de deformaciones producidas al utilizar dos trayectorias de tensiones con y sin la generación del colapso en algunos suelos arenosos y limosos saturados y no saturados. Para ese objetivo fue necesario el uso de un edómetro convencional y particularmente, un otro, que permite la imposición de la succión para el estudio deformacional de suelos no saturados. Los resultados mostraron la influencia del grado de saturación en la deformación de los suelos no saturados y principalmente en el comportamiento de un suelo colapsable. En la práctica, esos procesos mecánicos pueden ocasionar, efectos indeseados caso no sean llevados en consideración en los diseños.spa
dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the analysis of results of deformations produced when using two stress paths with or without the generation of the collapse in some sandy and silty saturated and unsaturated soils. For that objective, the oedometer conventional and particularly, another that allows the suction control for deformational unsaturated soils studies were necessary to use. The results showed the influence of the saturation degree in the deformation of unsaturated soils and principally, in the collapsible soil behavior. In the practice, those mechanical processes could cause, undesired effects if there were not considered in the projects.eng
