INSOLACIÓN EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LA TIERRA

Abstract

La transparencia (variable) de nuestra atmósfera regula la cantidad de energía solar recibida al nivel del mar. Conocida también como índice de claridad o transmisividad, se ha relacionado linealmente con la heliofanía desde el trabajo influyente de Angstr5m, cuyo modelo de regre­sión fue modificado y generalizado más tarde, convirtiéndose en una herramienta clásica para la estimación estadística de la irradiación solar en superficie. En el presente artículo propone­mos una base físico-meteorológica para la regresión polinomial entre el índice de claridad y la heliofanía relativa.

The (variable) transparency of our atmosphere regulates the amount of solar energy received at sea level. Also known as the clarity or transmissivity index, it has been linearly related to heliophany since the influential work of Angstr5m, whose regression model was later modified and generalized, becoming a classic tool for the statistical estimation of surface solar irradiation. In this article we propose a physical-meteorological basis for the polynomial regression between the clarity index and the relative heliophany.
